Requests land here the moment the customer submits the form (they also still arrive by email) — and the system auto-creates a linked PENDING booking that already holds the room(s) on the calendar. Flow: New → Contacted → Confirmed (or Declined). Confirming a date? Approve the linked booking in the console — approval emails the customer their payment links. Declining here releases the calendar hold automatically.
